I can’t disagree with you, unfortunately. I’d say Bush/Cheney are sins of commission and Obama/Biden are sins of omission. To the extent the caveat is even important.

I want the defense to show these testifying ICE officers videos of ICE officers violently beating unarmed citizens who have done nothing to provoke, and ask if those videos are examples of assault? When they say no, follow up by asking how the fuck this sandwich toss is assault?

No doubt a tinge of jealousy in there too…

The only thing Dems have to offer Trump is American interests & no bribes. Both of those are deal breakers for Trump. No use in even showing up

If the key to politics was blaming voters for not voting for you, Democrats would be the greatest politicians to ever exist. But, alas, politics is about actually getting to the voters to get them to vote for you. So, they are actually the most incompetent group of politicians ever assembled.

I’m self employed and buy insurance for my family from a broker. Mine is going up $900 per month. A 50% increase. I kinda wish everyone would/could boycott health insurance for a year to stick it to the big insurance companies.

However, they can, and have quite recently I might add, change Senate procedures for given items that allows them to pass things with a simple majority. Repubs have done it a lot, this session. So, they COULD end the shutdown without a single Dems vote. They WANT shut down. Dems can’t end it alone.

Republicans shape public opinion: with lies. Democrats bow to public opinion: which suggests, to them, falsely, that people don’t want to hear the truth.
The latter empowers the former. And we end up with this.

When everything Trump and the Republicans do hurts America, and nothing they do helps America, and the opposition party is either intentionally helping them or politically incompetent…what do we call that? Is that treachery? Fascism? Oligarchy?
