Creating any kind of art with A.I. is basically the same as that time they let Homer design a car.

Cover art by Dhiyanah Hassan of the novelette ebook, Honour by Anna Tan. The artwork centers on the title, "Honour" written in linear, sans serif hand-drawn script. It is framed by two cloths that draw the eye to the title, one dark blue and one golden-yellow. At the top of the book cover is a wooden archway with Jawi Peranakan motifs. Mirroring that is an archway at the bottom in stonework, referencing motifs from an on-site Peranakan mansion from real-life, edited a bit to fit the mood of the story. Wild overgrowth foliage peek into the frame of the artwork, all this set against a gradient sunrise or sunset sky. Above the title is a keris set in front of a burning pyre.

New #cover #art! It was fun mixing the story's themes w on-site references to capture this mirror-environment setting.
