My partner and I were able to purchase a home bc 1) my partner has a day job and skills that actually pay well and 2) I had enough inheritance from my grandfather's passing to put into a down payment. It is a huge relief after spending a decade in constantly changing housing situations. I'm lucky.

I'm also heavily dependent on Medicaid to cover my weekly therapy sessions (both mental and physical). Without Oregon Health Plan, I would not be capable of working. As much trouble as I have, I consider myself fortunate.

In the past year my work has been drawing a 200 pg graphic novel, animating dozens of characters for 2 different games, designing characters/props/logos for a 3rd game, and art directing a *4th* video game. I love my work and I'm proud of it, but I am nevertheless broke as hell.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Got a few more done today! I checked my notes and in the past week I've gone from 33 unfinished pages to just -16- left! My partner and I are painting our kitchen this weekend so I may or may not be able to finish the remainder before our anniversary... but it sure would be nice!

After a *very* long year, I'm approaching the end of drawing this book. Just 31 of 210 pages left to draw, and a lot of those have at least a couple panels done already!
