we're open about experiences of the time i spiraled out of control 3 years ago since it's been a while since i've been in front . the entire time i was using those 2 aliases was me, v******* . i'm the only one who has strong feelings about this in the system, so that it clears the air in the future

but without the grief and shame, without the discourse, i don't think i would've changed . and we're still continuously growing, because recovery doesn't end, and i wanna make sure anyone whose been in similar shoes are aware, treating anyone with respect, giving the patience they need to heal

with these choices and personal advancements i made, i wanted to be a "good" person . but i have a meta-awareness of social situations now that it's hard to trust others because i'm worried i'm outted for the same reasons, despite the progress . because i created responsibilities that aren't there

the changes i made never felt fulfilling, if i'm gonna be honest . i notice a lot of people are demanding and radical, and i've lived and learned to be as nuanced and open . i strive for communication and reciprocation, as i don't want to be too much or little . i want to show up to the part i play

thinking about it makes me want to cry, and the overlap of the trauma and the right choice is my current dilemma, because i know what's right to do . but it's hard to break out of old habits because it's what feels familiar . i do it anyways, because it's what feels right instead of fawning

i was 17 with unresolved trauma, the discourse happened around the time i turned 21, i am now 24 . so much happened since that's made it hard for me to pick up the pieces to recover . at this moment, i feel like i've experienced everything, only to create the cycle . i want to reclaim what i had

if i get called out, i am not pretending to be someone else or being undercover, i've just continued to grow out of old behaviors and past mistakes . so i'm very well aware of previous aliases i used to go by, as it was my first exposure to online communities . i left because i became homeless
