happy ncbd! only one pull this week but a shit load of trades i've decided to actually get to. haven't been reading a lot due to some stuff going on personally but excited to dive into all these books!

the prison scene in Season 3 Episode 4 of Daredevil is simply the best thing ever put to screen. The choreography, the camera work, the action, the intensity. Everything about it is absolutely perfect.

I'm 3 volumes into #radiantblack and holy shit this book is amazing. side note : hoopla is amazing if you love comics way better than comixology or even unlimited imo. nothing tops infinite tho.

man the acting in the daredevil show is so damn good this is like my third or fourth rewatch and charlie is literally matt

Black Lightning #3 Review:

I'm really only picking this up for the family story. the hate on metahumans thing is kinda played out yes it makes sense after absolute power but it doesn't feel like it has a lot of strong ties to the main characters in the book.

This run from Watters and Soy continues to be super fun, even as someone who loves Taylor's run. The flashback sequence was really interesting and I feel like the storyline is really starting to come together beyond just a simple gang war.

This is literally DC's Dune. Ram V is the perfect writer for this book. I love the characterization of Scott and Barda, and the art from Cagle is incredible.

Williamson continues to kill it even though this issue feels more like a bit of set-up for a bigger issue. I'm continuing to love the energon universe.

i feel like no matter how many storylines are woven together by dwj, it never gets confusing. his writing is in absolute peak form in this book, and he deserves all his flowers. if you aren't reading the energon universe or transformers, i highly recommend you start.

this book has honestly been going a little slow for me, but I still love it. that said, this issue was such a great look at the absolute universe's batman's origin story.
