This Eterna Matic I just restored. Mid 1950s. Was in very good shape, a lovely find on eBay for not a lot of money. It’s ticking quite well for its age and keeping accurate and precise time.

I was feeling the summery blue strap for it and I just love how it wears.

Another #macromonday piece I’ve been working on. Bought this off eBay, wasn’t working. I’ve taken it apart and cleaned it, was super dirty and oily. It’s working now!

Engraving on the back says “To Joe with Love Lucille 1969”
Someone clearly wore this with pleasure. ❤️❤️❤️

Looks like breccia to me

Just started work on this watch. It’s a Swiss watch from Eterna, mid 1950s and in great condition with a beautiful dial.

Hoping I can reassemble it successfully. There’s one evil little part that has given me about 6 hours of misery.

Been playing around again with stacking settings for mineral specimens. These are from my collection. Long crystals are selenite, and the yellowish ones are calcite I think.

Looks like robot faces in my watch parts 🤭

A very nice and worn Gruen wristwatch from c1951! Currently got it all apart and cleaned, but I’m waiting on parts to replace a few broken ones.

Polishing up the steel case, it will look almost new when done. Hopefully I can get it ticking again!
