The obsessive focus by political media on coalition policy deliberations β¦ maybe talk about something that has a real world impact? This constant propping of a two-party formula just because it suits your notion of horse race politics is beyond dull.
Think.
Talk issues not numbers.
Do better.
Leading medical publication the British Medical Journal recognises SUVs as a danger to public health in a new editorial co-authored by T&Eβs James Nix: bit.ly/4hVDlBC
Large SUVs are a danger to pedestrians, cyclists & other drivers.
It's time to take action to reduce their presence in urban areas.

We all value βthe rule of lawβ.
But whose law & rules? Corporations/Rich v Masses.
The law is being used to enforce existing power structures for the benefit of the few.
A few crumbs are thrown to pacify the masses but these are concessions and can be withdrawn.

This is disgusting. Why can't Australia's government add batteries and panels and provide power to these relatively few homes in remote areas like this? We're a rich nation.

The article headline says: βHow Do You Avoid Getting Sick on a Plane? Team USAβs Doctor Has Answers.β The image beneath shows U.S. Winter Olympic athletes climbing a mobile staircase to board a Delta airplane. They are wearing backpacks and winter gear, and the planeβs fuselage fills the background. The lighting suggests early morning or late afternoon. The mood is focused and purposeful as the team prepares to travel.
Interesting how the U.S. Olympic Team doctor thinks where you sit, what you wipe down, and how you angle the air nozzle to avoid getting sick on flights is somehow better than wearing a well-fitted N95 mask. π·
