This is a landscape nature photo that I took after it snowed. A curved line of snow-covered trees follow the icy road winding up a frosted hill. The cerulean sky above creates a dazzling contrast as it fades into the white distance. To the right, trees cast their cobalt shadow across a bright snow bank. Despite the cold, I couldn't help but feel comforted, and standing amid its frigid beauty, my blue heart warmed. Amazing photo, Tré, and “scent of warmth” 🧑‍🍳’s 😘 👌

This is a macro photo I took at dusk of our last summer peony. Soft pink layers of outer petals curve in and out of light and shadows. Fine points of focus create crisp edges that stand out amid the dominant bokeh. The way peonys slowly open, reminds me that it's okay not to rush. Our story isn't a race, it's an epic saga. This thought and image inspired my latest free verse haiku: scent of warmth sun's saga flips through peony
