I am just having trouble getting through each day with how horrible this all is.

And I am driving a ton more than I ever have the whole time I’ve lived in this city.

I have to sit down and make a really good plan about what can live at the other address.

I’m basically living at two addresses these days and I am not doing it well. Everytime I have to go back and forth it’s such an ordeal. I can’t imagine being a kid that has to do this every week.

Tear gas is a chemical weapon, @govpritzker.illinois.gov. The Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993 allows for its use in riot control. Is heckling ICE from the sidewalk as they drive by now "rioting"? Why are the Illinois State Police protecting ICE as they break the law?

The tl;dr: here is that we need options within the public system, curriculum and programs aren't inequitable but the way students get assigned to them often is, that's what needs to be fixed -- and the solution is to tax the rich to pay for amazing public schools for every child. /end

Today I’m meeting up with my partner since 2002 and signing the final papers for our divorce. There’s been a 90 day waiting period from the first papers to these second papers. Even with all the years separated, and the confidence in this decision, there’s still a lot of complicated feelings.

To clarify: I'm looking for transit agency apps that do a good job with accessibility, particularly for low-vision or blind folks who use screenreaders or similar tools. Not, for example, just a pdf or static jpeg without alt text.
