I think I would print a joint piece to connect two pieces of PVC pipe flush end to end and use the joint to cover the break, no structure. Try one of these printed on its side, as long as you can fit on the bed, like 4-5 walls and high infill. Should be solid.

(Truthfully these designs start looking silly if you make the spear smaller and handle thicker, but if you make it any smaller the handle gets way too thin. Video games!!!)

I don’t know that I’ve ever heard “you’re so talented” and taken it to mean “you came by all this naturally and didn’t have to work for it”? 🤔 I think of “talent” as the exact same thing as having a “knack”; it’s a natural aptitude and everyone has a jumble of them that get refined with practice.

No flaking that I’ve noticed! I love the stuff. I get it from Perfect Leather, but you can find it on Tandy and other leather sites by searching “metallic gold”; pigskin, lambskin and cow skin all work, they’re just different weights.

Pigskin leather is sometimes made in a gold foil finish, and can be applied to fabric using heat n bond or similar bonding materials, cut, then ironed to fabric :)

I do too. As far as I can tell, they’ve added extensions onto it at least three times? There’s like layers to the house where you’re going into another room through what obviously used to be a door to the outside.

I refuse to accept elastic waistbands on woven pants as fashionable. This is a scam by clothing companies to make production cheaper and to skip out on tailoring clothing for different body shapes and sizes. The elastic waistband is bulky and hideous. The added bulk is uncomfortable! I reject it!!!
