Judge appears skeptical of claim that unaffiliated voters can sue Maryland over closed primaries - Maryland Matters An Anne Arundel County Circuit Court judge issued a partial ruling Monday in favor of a group of unaffiliated Maryland voters who are challenging the state’s closed primary election system. A fuller victory might be harder to come by, though.

What we're reading: Judge appears skeptical of claim that unaffiliated voters can sue Maryland over closed primaries. Anne Arundel Circuit Court judge agrees that voters have standing to bring a lawsuit, but a fuller ruling is still to come.
