NGL I kinda hate the Game Gear. The screen sucks, the battery life sucks, and it sucks to restore. I should just sell mine, I never play them.

Here in the Twin Cities, there was a block of DIY programming on Saturday evenings right before dinner. New Yankee Workshop, Hometime and then This Old House. I learned so much from those even though I was like 10.

I don’t know what to do. I can keep using the Affinity 2 suite for a while but it’ll inevitably stop working due to OS updates etc. I can’t justify Creative Cloud due to its cost and the fact that Adobe sucks. What other options are out there that are just as powerful? Slim pickings.

Perhaps unsurprisingly Canva has absolutely ruined the Affinity suite. Free app that requires logging into a Canva account and comes with AI upsells? GTFO
