the last few months (years?) have left me so raw and sensitive over every little and big thing. i’ve been back in halifax for under a week and everyone i’ve run into so far has been so incredibly kind i’ve found myself getting a lil weepy after the shortest interactions

working on the final touches of a year-long project all about collapse and people’s anxious attempt to preserve failing borders and concepts of identity amid the destruction has had me feeling… quirky!

it is a v nice feeling to be working on a project where for over a year it only exists as mp4 and pdf and tiff and obj files, then over the course of a couple weeks have it be physical and real and in front of you

in the final editing stages for my upcoming show and the only thing getting me through the next couple weeks is thinking about when i'll be able to offload all these files onto external hard drives and then reinstall baldur's gate 3

my nerves have been completely shot the past week. i am tired and feel paralyzed with anxiety but the small win i’m clinging onto is i haven’t given up on my commitment to dry january despite… everything

all the podcasts are saying the young men have turned into shitheads because they're lonely and if that's true someone should tell them that the cure for loneliness is being kind lmao
