I'm gutted. Rob Wieland was one of my first friends when I moved to Milwaukee. He was one of the kindest and most generous people I've ever known, and his joy was as infectious as his creativity. He was a brilliant writer and a stalwart friend.

France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

Writers with kids face many extra challenges to our schedules/productivity/sanity. But also, they will just randomly drop the most banger story prompts.
