The company could simply say that they have a business need to retain the data permanently for the purposes of training their model. If that is not the case then why could they simply not have a hard time limit? eg. "we delete all transcriptions 30 days after creation". Awful stuff.

Agreed, I read it and as far as I can see the company could hold onto a text copy of highly sensitive data *forever*. For example a victim of domestic abuse could read out their name and address and a description of what happened.

Late reply, but I was thinking about that this week actually. Seems the options are Inkbox which use a proprietary dye (but can be custom print), gardenia juice based ones, or water-slide decals (as used on children's ones) which don't last as long but you can print at home.

This was our entire room at NordicFuzzCon, in a convention room block hotel ("Comfort" Hotel). The gap on the right was for the door to open. I can't remember how much it cost, but it was not a budget price for sure.
