The stars came perilously close to aligning on me selling up and nabbing my dream home quite quickly, but the one I had hopes for sold today just after we made an appointment to view it. It’s a sad blow but need to stay positive

Jeeezus I’m really sick this morning, my voice has almost completely gone. So weird to have such an infected throat but not really any other symptoms so not even sure it’s even a cold/flu thing?

I actually played it in one sitting last night and to my mind it’s barely horror, more just disturbing content which to a fairly extreme cinema watcher was quite tame to me XD Not much story either or twist, it’s a quirky and ‘mid’ experience. Don’t know how it’s gotten so much attention tbh

I could probably immediately list off about ten horror movies that are likely more morally challenging than this game turns out to be. Just from the synopsis of the game only I’m reminded of a film called ‘The Farm’ (2018)

I’ve picked up the game and can’t imagine it’s even a tenth as subversive as some horror cinema I’ve seen. I guess it’s the agency in gaming as a media that’s unnerving people where as grimness in film just happens to you as you sit passively and experience it.
