i think it passes for pop'n art, if only because there's a surprising amount of variance in the 20+ years of pop'n artwork. but there are so many small quirks of this art style that you only notice while trying to replicate it. i think a second attempt would be better

i don't personally have a preference. i've been making black and white comics for like five years, i can crank those out in my sleep
but i know some of y'all really like colored comics and i do enjoy getting the extra practice in

would you all prefer that no-one special maintains its twice a week schedule at the cost of color? or for the comics to remain fully colored but to only be posted once a week?
i'd like to keep the current status quo going for as long as i can, but two fully colored comics a week is a lot of work...
