Every day I come closer to understanding why my old boss was the way she was. The amount of bullshit she had to deal with in and out of the team would drive anyone insane.

Got some bugs dropped on my desk at 3:30pm, for a machine (that I barely work on) that's shipping the NEXT DAY. I fixed them in an hour, but they were all things that were working in my initial implementation. Some jackass just messed it all up when consolidating code.

One thing I really love about Time Stranger is just how vibrant the environments are. Every town is bustling with people and digimon, and it really sells the world.

For some reason the company is having a flu + covid shot clinic on Thursday, which almost immediately translates into a Friday sick day for side effect recovery.

Started Time Stranger. Inori's dad is a detective, like some sort of... sleuth, interested in Digimon... digital monsters... digital... like cyber... like some kind of cyber... sleuth?

I am regularly reminded how much of an anomaly I am for being a competitive WIXOSS player with absolutely no local scene to speak of. Very few people would play a card game seriously without someone local to play with them.

Tried Hololive TCG with my friend, and I was pleasantly surprised that she really liked it. She already plays Pokemom TCG, so that's high praise coming from her.

With the end of Windows 10, I think it's time for me to migrate to a reliable OS - Linux on PS2.

Found out Fantasy Maiden Wars Switch version is delayed. I reaallly wanted to play it on a handheld. Unfortunately I do not own a Steam deck.

Super Robot Wars is cool and all, but I want to see a magical girl version of SRW. And no, Fantasy Maiden Wars does not count.

I managed to exclude all 4 copies of Enigma Aura, but not before he got to fire it twice.

Played AS with a friend yesterday. He was playing Urith for the first time. After a reasonable 40 min game, I pointed out how crazy Enigma Aura is under AlfouHaity Key. We then played another game that went on for 2 HOURS. AS do be like that sometimes. #WIXOSS

Finished Hacker's Memory. What a bittersweet ending, even moreso than Cyber Sleuth. It ties the knot on the transhumanist themes of the plot, while also being an answer to the history reset at the end of CS.

Erika and Wormmon were definitely the real stars of the show.

On the bright side, we at least have an unofficial automated simulator in Open Batoru.

What I got was slightly more challenging encounters, and a revolving door of Pokemon that let me appreciate many more options.

I know people are mixed on Pokemon SV, but I walked away from them really enjoying them. Granted, I imposed rules on myself to extract the maximum amount of fun from them.
1) Level and party cap for each major encounter
2) I could only use each Pokemon in one major encounter

I feel like it's something they shouldn't even bother with trying to explain because the implications are awful. It's not worth thinking about to me because I understand the reasons why the world has to remain static.

Imagine if Square Enix rereleased Dissidia Duodecium on PC. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

Berserk BITS is a battle network inspired idle game. It's cute, but probably dangerous for my personal health. I'm not really a fan of how much screen space it takes up as an idle game, but it's probably fine if you have a second monitor.

Yunyun Syndrome Rhythm Psychosis absolutely knocks its presentation out of the park. The rhythm gaming is good too, but it's not doing anything new. The game feels like it is likely NOT about trying to fix our failgirl Qtie, in fact it feels like the opposite, and I am here for that ride.

Homura Hime is a flashy character action game, clearly taking a lot of cues from Nier Automata. The game feels flashy, but needs a bit more work to have more impact. At the very least I would like to see more hitstop on attacks.
