@quinnypig.com Any change I could get a timestamp in the LWIA podcast for test01, since the podcast and the email order headlines differently?

@laranewsom.com heads-up: domain's expired.

Also heads-up: the signals talk that landed on the KCDC lineup might be a good fit for this year's longhornphp.com (Oct 23-25 in Austin). CFP's open through Friday: cfp.longhornphp.com. Reply/find me elsewhere with any Q's!

@guy.dev Public ping 'cuz understandably no DMs, but saw your Meme Twin and Redis talks on the KCDC lineup and those look like a decent fit for longhornphp.com (Oct 23-25 in Austin). CFP closes EOD Friday (cfp.longhornphp.com). Sound interesting? Copy-pasting Sessionize submissions should work FWIW.

Longhorn PHP Conference CFP Call for Presenters for Longhorn PHP Conference

@amygeb.bsky.social Not DM'able (which is fair) so I'll ping this way: if you're up for e.g. talking Passkeys at Longhorn PHP (Oct 23-25 in Austin), the CFP closes EOD this Friday (cfp.longhornphp.com). Pinging 'cuz I'm thinking back to the five-star talks you had when we both spoke at Midwest 2019.

@stroz.dev DMs don't quite exist for you<->me on here, so doing a public ping instead: Longhorn PHP (in Austin Oct 23-25) CFP closes end-of-day Friday the 1st in case you're interested in submitting anything (believe you submitted to Tek this year). cfp.longhornphp.com. Thx!

If your first thought is "that joke isn't gonna fly"...I assure you, chances are quite good that it will. Delta's completion factor is quite good.

The Tea Party protests in April 2009 had about a third of a million people involved, and the political media treated it like a game changer for the Obama presidency.

The No Kings rallies were AT LEAST ten times bigger than the Tea Party protests. Will the press keep pretending Trump is popular?

Wouldn't be surprised if more people chanted "USA! USA!" for longer in Austin today for the No Kings protest than at this parade. I like WWII equipment as much as the next dude but I know which events were more patriotic.

the story today is of a profoundly low energy military parade being met with millions of americans in nationwide protests denouncing the dictatorial pretensions of the president

For a cert? Absolutely throw that in the junior bucket, then give people a heads-up that unit testing will be part of the cert. Nothing wrong with nudging folks in the right direction with a certification as the carrot :)

(I don't recall learning unit testing in my CSCI degree, but should have!)

Calling it now: the acquirers of Walgreens sell off the real estate for more valuable locations, swap to smaller storefronts where possible, shut down a bunch of stores, spin off international markets, and then sell the remaining US stores to UnitedHealth by mid-2028.

Seems like there's been an uptick in SAML vulnerabilities popping up. This indicates to me that either a new tool for finding them got popular or a widely used tool got an upgrade around this detection. Anyone know which happened, and which tool?
