I’m grateful for my Valentine – the love of my life, my wife Cheryl. We’re wishing everyone in #MN02 a joyful day spent with their loved ones. ❤️💌

On Presidents Day, we remember America was built on rejecting monarchy and upholding the Constitution above any one ruler.

Today and every day, let’s recommit ourselves to these founding ideals.

ICE claims they have nothing to hide… then why are they keeping the doors locked?

DWC members across the country will continue fighting to exercise our constitutional right to inspect at ICE facilities.

President Trump told the American people that he wanted to be a dictator on day one. Now in office, he and his administration are making good on that promise with illegal and unconstitutional actions that directly threaten Americans’ economic, personal, and national security.

Reminder: it’s not normal for a president to profit $1.4 billion in a single year from the presidency.

On Presidents’ Day, this is a reminder of what presidential leadership can look like.

As House Republicans passed a bill to allow mining in the Boundary Waters, the family of Theodore Roosevelt is speaking up, breaking decades of silence to oppose it.

RFK Jr. just appointed two anti-vax OB-GYNs to our nation's highest vaccine advisory panel.

This is yet another example of his dangerous and irresponsible leadership at HHS.

He is putting pregnant women and children's lives at risk.

For the first time in more than 20 years the Minnesota State House is convening without my former colleague Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman.

Ahead of this legislative session, I introduced a resolution in Congress honoring her life and service to people of Minnesota.

The 2026 legislative session starts today — the first time the Minnesota House has convened since Melissa and Mark Hortman were killed.

At noon, the legislature will hold a ceremony to honor their memory. We hope that you'll take a moment to remember them with us.

Everyone who worked at this camp should go to prison.

When I think about how we as a country have come to this particular inflection point I always circle back to the way that white men in particular have repeatedly asserted that they cannot be expected to learn anything that makes them the slightest bit uncomfortable

The current person in charge of ICE's procurement for detention is a GEO Group executive who ran the company's immigration detention portfolio. He was granted an "ethics waiver" from DHS allowing him to hand out contracts to GEO in his new role.

UPDATE: Staff at the ICE concentration camp in Dilley, Texas have begun raiding the dormitories of kids and their parents to confiscate and destroy letters from the children. This is in response to the ace reporting by @micarosenberg et al for ProPublica:

“I don’t want to be in this place I want to go to my school.”

- 7 year old imprisoned by ICE for 70 days in a concentration camp in Texas.

Today, after @propublica.org published this story, the camp was raided to confiscate letters from the children.

This is a known fact. I don't know why this seems like a surprise to anyone. It's already been proven. donald trump is, was, and always will be a cheater. he cheats at everything he does. Everything. Measures need to be firmly in place before midterms to stop him from cheating again.

It should have been a massive story that the FBI threatened Thomas Massie’s staff to stop pushing for the release of the Epstein files. Credit to Massie for staying relentless in this fight, even in the face of Trump’s threats.
