I’ve decided to leave all Meta platforms—Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp—and also X (formerly Twitter). Their policies and practices no longer align with my values, and I can’t support companies that allow harmful rhetoric to thrive. It’s time to move on and prioritize integrity over convenience.

I hear you—it’s frustrating that those earning the least give so much while billionaires give relatively little. The U.S. really needs better laws to ensure the ultra-rich contribute fairly, but it’s clear the system has allowed this imbalance to grow. What can we do?

Every dollar counts when it comes to helping others, even if it feels small compared to someone’s net worth. While it’s fair to critique the scale or focus of Musk’s philanthropy, it’s important to clarify that the claim he doesn’t donate is simply incorrect. That was my motivation for sharing.
