Good morning. This is a not-spectacular shot of a rainbow I saw one morning on my way to work. I hadn’t seen a rainbow in the morning before that, and thought it was cool.

I’m usually very firmly in the Christmas-starts-after-Thanksgiving camp but made an exception this year, much to my teen daughter’s delight. She wanted to watch Haul out the Holly tonight. I love a cheesy Hallmark flick but what in the serial killer vibes is happening in this movie???

I loved my local library when I was growing up. I’d hang out there after school. I checked out every horse book I could find along with whatever I wanted from the adult side. I used their encyclopedias to research school projects. The librarians always had book suggestions for me.

I have this great idea for a book in my head. I just need to figure out how to let it out.

My favorites that I read this year were Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt and A Curse of Krakens by Kevin Hearne.
