Helpoin tapa saada työnteosta kannustavaa on siirtyminen perustuloon. Perustulojärjestelmässä pieninkin työkeikka tuo lisätuloja sen sijaan että se sysää ihmisiä kafkamaiseen byrokratia- ja selvitysrumbaan ja pahimmillaan vaarantaa koko toimeentulon.

Miksi oikeisto ei siis kannata perustuloa?

Vuosi 2025 lähenee loppuaan ja mitäpä on mielessä? Päällimmäisenä se, että taas on hukattu yksi vuosi väistelemällä tosiasioita, höpisemällä joutavuuksia, uskomalla ihmeisiin ja ulosmittaamalla hyväosaisille mahdollisimman paljon viimeisistä talouden hedelmistä.

Rantanen on niin raskas tyyppi, ettei edes omat jaksa kuunnella sitä selvinpäin.

Tällä kertaa Israelin "eliminoima välittömän uhan sotilaille aiheuttanut Hamas terroristi" osoittautui 3 vuotiaaksi tytöksi. Hyvä hallitusohjelma, ilmatorjuntaohjuksia tarvitaan ja Euroviisut ei oo poliittinen tapahtuma.

Pahastuneen älinän ja ölinän määrästä päätellen jonkinmoinen osa suomalaisia ihan oikeasti suutahti vulvan inspiroimasta iltapuvusta Linnan juhlissa. Yleisin selitys on se, että pukua pidettiin sopimattomana presidentin juhlien, itsenäisyyden ja Suomen arvoille. Ja näin voi tosiaan olla. Mutta. Siellä juhlissa oli myös natsipoliitikko, alaikäisiä tyttöjä ahdistellut poliitikko, humalassa ammuskelusta tuomittu poliitikko, useampi rasistisia salaliittoteorioita levittänyt poliitikko, Suomen luontoa säälimättä tuhonneita poliitikkoja, kymmeniä tuhansia lapsiperheitä köyhyyteen syössyt valtiovarainministeri, lähes päivittäin valehteleva pääministeri ja koko kekkereitä isännöi palestiinalaisten kansanmurhalle hiljaisen hyväksyntänsä antanut presidentti.

Nämä ovat oikeasti pahoja ja vääriä asioita, jotka ovat jyrkästi kaikkia niitä arvoja vastaan, joita presidentti Stubb ja virallinen Suomi väittävät edustavansa.

Pukeutuminen tietynlaiseen iltapukuun ei ole edes samassa kisassa, mitä sopimattomaan toimintaan tulee.

Leaders' superior performance arises through two mechanisms. The political influence channel is reflected in higher returns when their party controls the chamber, sales of stocks preceding regulatory actions, and purchase of stocks whose firms receiving more government contracts and favorable party support on bills. The corporate access channel is reflected in stock trades that predict subsequent corporate news and greater returns on donor-owned or home-state firms.

As news broke about a possible ceasefire in Ukraine, the stocks of German weapons manufacturer Rheinmetall dropped by 14%. Analysts called this "Friedensangst": fear of peace. Capitalism is in deep crisis, and the ruling class only has two ideas: they are spending trillions on weapons and on plagiarism machines. Peace could disrupt their plans for economic stimulus via rearmament. As Rosa Luxemburg put it: "The dividends rise as the proletarians fall." This system will kill us for profit.

I hope someone draws this wonderful story about Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and the power of the arts to help us see things differently, to the attention of our Education Secretary. Do read it, it will lift your spirits.

Veikkaan, että ensi vuonna talousennusteet menevät selvästi tätä vuotta paremmin kohdalleen, koska tuntematon jarru - 4 mrd. euron sopeutusimpulssi - ei enää uudestaan iske päälle Suomen kansantaloudessa. Mutta edelleen fipo-linja on kiristävä ja vuoden 2025 hännät päällä.

Miksi suomalainen media antaa saman oligarkin vuodesta toiseen esittää tiedevastaisia näkemyksiä ikään kuin ne olisivat totta? Tämä ei ole ammattikunnalleni kunniaksi. Totta kai Wahlroosia voi haastatella, monestakin asiasta. Mutta voisi haastaakin. Montako kriittistä haastattelua hänestä olette nähneet? Tai edes yhtä tiukkaa jatkokysymystä? Itselleni ei äkkiä tule mieleen ensimmäistäkään. Esimerkiksi metsistä olen kysynyt aiheen asiantuntijoilta. Wahlroos ei sellainen ole. Jäävi hän kyllä on. Miksi 15 vuotta metsäyhtiö UPM:n hallituksen puheenjohtajana toimineen miehen annetaan esittää poskettomia väitteitä metsistä kenenkään haastamatta?
