I’m currently researching my options and Fender really doesn’t have a good affordable American JM with all the things(including a rhythm circuit and actual JM pickups) that make a JM a JM.

The EHX only sends out cv signals that can be sent to an expression input. Problem with this and the other sequencers is that most expression inputs are set up for 3.3v while most sequencers are scaled to 5v. There are attenuators you can get to fix this (the EHX also has a setting for max out).

I have a Korg SQ-64 which can send cc out on each step, and my next experiments are going to be using those going into the midi in of my Dark Star Stereo to create some pitch sequences and filter sequences.

I’m experimenting with using the gate out for tap tempo. I had the ECCos and my JHS Unicorn sync’d with the two gate outputs. And I’ve been using the CV outs to the expression inputs of pedals like my Dark Star Stereo. It’s all very exploratory at the moment.

There’s more. I may need a bigger pedalboard.
