Very hyped for Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion, I've been playing the demo for some hours now and I'm sooooo ready to get the entire game next week Friday!

Always was interested in games with character creation and having a story that your character grows in... Didn't know D&D is perfect for that

I'm pretty interested in it too, curious to see what they're about!

Feels like everyone releases subpar and says: "we'll make it better later."

And then proceed to not do it.

Works great, but isn't supported in the same way Dia is, Dia is their focus Arc is an afterthought.

You know what I mean.

Abandoned in the way that they are not building anything on top of it anymore. No updates to the windows app in features (except for security updates), no updates on the mobile app in features (except for security updates).

I think they felt the default of Arc was too far away from the experience that the general public would want.

I think they handled the transition very badly, this maybe could’ve worked if it felt like a suite of browser with different focusses. But they just dropped everything.

Mayhaps, but they’ve truly abandoned Arc. The only updates it gets are essentially security updates, it’s sad…

That’s what I’m feeling, perhaps they’re banking on them becoming customers when they graduate but…

That would seem like a stretch and not a good plan to try and get that sale 4 years after free usage.

Dia becoming a browser that focuses on students kind of surprises me. Not sure where that angle is going?

Perhaps making it the way that people interact with researching stuff?

We'll see.

I’m so hooked on D&D it’s crazy.

D&D Update: Picked a card from the Deck of Many Things in the last session with my lvl 2 adventurer...

Got The Gem which made my character rich AF, gotta take your chances sometimes.

Finalised a long collaboration, always feels bittersweet — but there's some space in my time now.

What a week it was!

I was in Lisbon for the Leadership Atelier by Hatch Conference. During my time there I've learned a lot about what it means to show up as a leader, how you can give guidance, and how I want to represent myself within a company.

I look forward to making use of my learnings!
