Instead of trying to put on paper what I am feeling I often turn the aesthetic decision-making part of my brain off in order to just make marks that feel intuitive. Then when I look back those feelings start to make sense in the work that I was having during the process

Yes I think about Time all the time. Art captures energy as we dip into the Zeitgeist so it doesn’t matter when we live we all may experience the same vibrations from time to time.
