Why in particular has been weirdly belligerent to users in a way not backed up by the team so I'd take this with a grain of salt

This means Bluesky would be able to discreetly ramp up enforcement of the rule while gaslighting users, ie acting as if the policy was already there, they’re just clarifying the rules, but nothing has changed
