There's definitely a way to keep the dates but change the email, maybe try "--committer-date-is-author-date"? I have no experience with signing though, sorry!

I tested it locally and works great, and I also included support for the XP-PEN Artist 22R Pro in case anyone wanted to test that as well. I'll be submitting the patch when I get confirmation!
