Calling the global pace of switching to EVs in recent years "subdued" is a bit misleading.

Last month, global sales of electric vehicles increased 26% YoY. Sales in Europe increased 36%. 51% of sales in China, the biggest global car market, are now electric. 1/6 of new cars in Thailand are EVs.
