I feel like the past few years have seen an impressive run of deep, rangy, unpredictable, and just downright excellent story collections, and SAD GROWNUPS by @amystuber.com is one of the finest.

It's also worth noting that there is lots of content/developmental editing and proofreading work outside of publishing, and it likely pays better.
