Mayor Vaughn in Jaws promising this is going to be one of the best fourth of Julys Amity Island has ever had. Hard to tell why Iβve thought about this scene for like 10 years running.

Cover of Sad Grownups, an excellent story collection by Amy Stuber. I feel like the past few years have seen an impressive run of deep, rangy, unpredictable, and just downright excellent story collections, and SAD GROWNUPS by @amystuber.com is one of the finest.
