How's he supposed to know in an instant that the other player is offside? This is the problem with the rule - assumes defenders have 360 cameras above the pitch. If he lets it go and Myko happens to be playing Diaz on, he gets slaughtered. Defenders have to defend.

It's a great point. Staying quiet is no longer an excuse. Don't always get that right, but definitely try to. I also take my responsibility of raising two young boys to be good, thoughful, considerate men very seriously. Role modeling is key.

I guess the point is that it must be the start of something, not the goal in and of itself. If it doesn't act as a war cry of sorts, then it was purely perfromative.

As a man who tries to be genuinely respectful, thoughtful and is an equal partner and parent, I find it really sad that you feel this way about men as a homogonised group. But more angry about the "men" at the top enabling and normalising these behaviours. Anyway, we're not all bad. Promise.
