In 2022, the U.S. exceeded 90,000 tons of spent nuclear fuel in storage around this country.

This fuel is frozen in place b/c federal government has vacated its responsibility to move forward with a long term isolation strategy.

Seems way less complex to me to use the MI COL than develop a cross border, multi-government project.

So I’d say you’re offering a worse option for sure.
