Absolutely! If you do highly recommend the coastal areas/barrier islands of NC and SC and Iβve heard the Gulf of Mexico is wonderful as well. If you can handle the heat and humidity summer is best I think because some wildlife management areas are restricted in the Fall/Winter for hunting season.

they are fantastic! sadly most of them donβt range in NY where I usually am located (although we definitely have some nice ones) but Iβve been in the southeast this past week and the species diversity I saw from just that short time was delightful
