Thinking of Deadman Wonderland and Elfen Lied like... Was the gore and cruelty necessary? I mean, to set the tone of what was happening and what genre of media, I'd argue, yes, furthermore, who could make such a determination except for the author/artist?

Goal is to have a little place in here to curl up and draw/write when the desktop is too much but I don't want to be In Bed for various reasons including wanting to be able to hang with the dog (bedroom is off limits to him because the cat needs her own space for her food and solitude)

I think the final thing for this space is one of those little tables that hooks over the edge of the couch but I'll have to see if that's needed given I have some nice tray tables and I don't want to needlessly buy furniture... Also ofc, what's my back think of it...

I will have a cute little nap spot in my office, god help me when I have all of these shelves and pictures up, I WILL XD
