I lucked into winning my first game of Mahjongg ever played. Made out on a final pair on the last play. Shogi looks fun, being a chess derivative, but I need to remember how each piece moves and captures.

I bought hanafuda cards at the Shibuya Nintendo store, maybe I'll learn koi koi too lol.

The mini games though. Woof, I genuinely don't know how to play like half these games, mostly the card variety. I get they're traditional Asian games, but I just can't wrap my head around the rules.

I was hoping the combat system wouldn't be too clunky. Sure taking a hit does break the flow of the fight, but aside from that the fighting and switching between styles feels natural. I'm thoroughly enjoying the Breaker style for Majima.

Thanks to the recent Xbox sales, I have Yakuza Zero to 6, Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon Ishin. That was all for $125.

At the recommendation from several people, I've started to play the Yakuza series, starting chronologically with Zero.
I am having so much damn fun with this game, from the story to the beat-em-up section, even a little "wink wink" comedy thrown in. I really hope the rest of the series is like this
