So many things wrong here. Violence is NEVER the answer and trivializing murder - no matter who it is - is not right. BUT to sanitize or change the kind of person who was killed to elicit sympathy is not right either. Kirk was who he was - that doesn't change because of what happened.

I believe that this is horrible and a tragedy, but must note the irony that the deaths of democratic law makers a few months ago were barely mentioned in comparison. And there is a faction using this to sweep the Epstein files off the news cycle. Shame on the news media for once again losing focus.

Sigh - the challenge is that there is so much rhetoric on both sides. A human being got killed. I never agreed with his politics but violence is never the answer. So much hate and vitriol - all fueled by orange man himself. There was a time where we could disagree and not end up in bloodshed. 😒

This should be posted everywhere because they are already trying to push what happened on liberals and the left. The background on Tyler says different. Violence is violence and it shouldn't be condoned EVER. I worry the rhetoric is going to end up in more violence. Sigh

You said it perfectly - he has no idea and he doesn't care. He will lie and tout this to his followers as the best thing to ever happen to them. And his cult will eat it up, even as they stop being able to afford food and can't go to the doctor anymore, and watch their children waste away. So sad.

And this will affect not just the poor (though they will bear the worst of this) - it will hit hard on the middle class too - raising basic insurance premiums by 25% or more. This is one step closer to erasing what we know as the middle class.

And the thing is - they rushed this through rather than taking the time to pass a bipartisan budget agenda that was fiscally responsible and would help ALL Americans because their Dumpster in Chief insisted they do it. MANY MANY of them were uncomfortable with this bill but they passed it anyway.

The GOP congress will own this mistake - they will get primaried in a lot of scenarios and their constituents who actually listen to something besides Fox news will turn against them. This will create financial problems for GENERATIONS. They will go down in history as COWARDS - ALL OF THEM!

This - exactly this. Biden should have done it. The only way to buffer against this compromised SCOTUS is to expand SCOTUS so the bribed and biased judges no longer have any type of majority. BUT whether that will be possible, whether free and fair elections are even possible is the bigger question.

There is no silver lining - this is SCOTUS bending a knee to their would be king. It's hiding behind legalese (that is not including the 3 dissenters) to allow unconstitutional EOs go forward and not challenged. It will create a division among states and will help destroy democracy as we know it.

I am in such a state of shock I don't have words. I knew that SCOTUS had become biased and more another conservative tool for Dump - than an actual judicial body - but this, hiding behind legalese to avoid addressing the basic unconstitutionality of Dump's EO is just abhorrent an shameful.

He lies and lies and we do nothing. He remembers nothing because a worm at half his brain and he swims in sewage. He is hte last qualified person to be our health secretary. Thank you Bill Cassidy and the entire GOP for making America's Healthcare THE WORST ever.
