I probably shouldn’t be talking about politics anymore. I’ll try to avoid all the obvious political propaganda pushed by Russia and the CCP in the U.S., or else I’ll never be able to keep enjoying this fandom here.

Life goes on—we still have to work, eat, and sleep. But we won’t give up. We’ll continue resisting the traitors from within, even in a country infiltrated by the CCP.

At the very least, we no longer face imprisonment or death so easily just for fighting for freedom and democracy. At the very least, we can still gather peacefully and voice our demands.

Every time I scroll through Bluesky, I see the same thing happening in America and some countries in Europe. It makes me more anxious. A lot of people are influenced by communist propaganda and have no idea what actually happened. It's a tragedy for democracy.

I’m not afraid of the Chinese Communist Party’s military threats—what truly terrifies me is their ideological infiltration. Every day, I see so many people selling out my country for petty gains, and it makes me overwhelmingly anxious. Not even reading fanfiction can ease this anxiety anymore.

The man in this video is MLY Kuo Kuo-wen, a social democrat in Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan, and the bill sought to greatly expand the legislature’s power the with little means to push back against it.

Also, this video is very old and not at all recent.

This is how we are desperately trying to protect our democracy from the pro-communist (CCP-aligned) party. We haven’t succeeded yet, but we will hold recall votes for the KMT legislators. We hope we will succeed. I don’t want to live in a country without freedom.
