This graphic is incorrect. The Cato Institute numbers actually showed only 65 incidents of left-wing violence in the US since 1975, compared with 391 incidents of right wing violence since . It is never used to refer to violence normalized under capitalism, which includes police violence, people being evicted from their homes, people dying bc they are denied medical care or housing, people being shot by the police, or state-sanctioned genocide.

I don't usually go there, but with troops in the streets of DC, I’m remembering how some of us were vilified for saying Trump couldn’t be allowed to win. If we had stopped him, some people would still be saying that we had exaggerated the threat. We have to do better in so many ways.
