Lay down the seemingly endless ability to mitigate fear and outrage with blame.
Try something new.
Confess fear
Confess inability to solve issues with blaming.
Turn to each other and create positive solutions.
Let’s do something together!

These days it seems as if we are all parents of a house full of feral children who want our attention all at the same time.

Outrage has turned to tears for me the past couple of days. Like, at every turn.

Look at the movement behind the government take over. That is who they got there.
That is what you need if you want to do the same

Cruelty is common and obscene. I mean, anyone can be cruel.

My newsfeed looks like a tabloid these days. Even some of the outlets I have trusted these past few years. Weary. So weary.

This is so real in my family’s life and the lives of many in my neighborhood.

Today I laugh at myself for being a total fail at substack and Bluesky while I am grateful for the unconditional love of my significant other who subscribes to zero social media.

On this MLK Day, amidst everything, Dr. King's prophetic call for freedom and justice lights our way like a beacon.
