Finished TOG last night. A week late, but 3 snow days in FL really threw off my ability to read vs keeping my kids entertained. Gotta meet up with my bookclub girlies to discuss before moving into the next book in the series. Still need to finish The Housemaid’s Secret. I’m struggling with this one.

Finished “Manaced” a fan fiction by SenLinYu which has been picked up for official publication. And I placed a bookmark in Throne of Glass by SJM so I’ll be starting that this week.

Starting a bit behind. The first week of the new year I was almost finished reading (and did finish reading) Mercy by Sara Cate. I then jumped into Highest Bidder by her next; however, felt I wanted more and started and am half way through The Housemaid’s Secret by Freida McFadden.

When I had a violent stalker who would graphically describe how he would have me gang raped, puncture my organs and and break all my bones, I was told the police "couldn't do anything".

Consider this a reminder that they absolutely ✨can✨ do something.

They just don't care about YOU.

if your words can be used against you like this then why are all the stalkers, rapists and abusers not in jail. they make threats every day against their victims and the law claims there’s not enough “evidence”. yet one statement is enough for 15 year charge??? the judicial system is a joke.
