⭐Go into your account settings.

⭐TURN OFF EVERYTHING.

I’ve been working for 15 years as an animator and I can tell you without a doubt, the best fix I ever found for imposter syndrome is living a full life where your days and worth don’t hinge on whether or not you were a good animator today.

First day in a while I've been too busy with actual work to make time for portfolio day. 🤙

Take a few minutes to appreciate Drew Struzan creating the original artwork for THE PHANTOM MENACE. Truly a master at work.

Doing things that are creative but I are incapable of monetizing helped me feel my spark again. Music, sculpture, writing. You lose the pressure and can take things slow. Doing nothing just makes me bummer slide, so I had to try something else. Also therapy lol

Fun fact about the Salvation Army: they use a form of substance use treatment called work therapy. Oh, and by treatment, I mean they have people who have been convicted of drug charges work for their stores & warehouses in exchange for room, board, around a $1 a week, and minimal actual therapy.

You might think that you don't matter in this world, but because of you, someone has a favorite mug to drink their tea out of that you bought them. Someone hears a song on the radio, and it reminds them of you. Someone has read a book you recommended to them and gotten lost in its pages. Someone's remembered a joke you told them and smiled to themselves on the bus. Never think you don't have an impact. Your fingerprints can't be wiped away from the little marks of kindness that you've left behind.
