My guess is maybe it's to future proof it in case DST rules change for a region? That way a really old event that's been downloaded won't be impacted by a system having the updated rules and not reconciling the event correctly.

When I was applying for my first job my dad tried to push me to apply in person instead of online by doing so himself on my behalf (without telling me also).

He got a little reality check when places kept telling him applications are online only.

Confusion from unintended pass by reference definitely caused a few headaches during some of my grad projects.

It's interesting to see this kind of stuff. I mostly see people just post "stinky" with the fursuit bathwater and not the more intricate pieces of care that you don't need a degree in fursuits to do.

I did also just get a promo (apology) email for their new Boost changes with a $50 travel credit so I don't have high hopes :)

The Denver one was good when I tried it last year, but trying to use the DC/DFW ones this year had a gigantic wait-list.

The no guests part seems like an overcorrection though.

Still somewhat considering it since I'm sitting on my SUB for the CSP + a mountain of other points I've had saved, but only if their new boost redemption program actually picks flights/hotels that aren't exorbitantly priced. If not, I'll probably look at transferring them out.
