Batman/Elmer Fudd *Deluxe Edition* was a delight to read. Very silly story with a serious tone. If you haven't, you should check it out.
Absolute Martian Manhunter #1 on the other hand... Absolutely incredible! Single issues are harder to get for this one so the trade will be a day one purchase. I can't wait to read more.

Absolute Superman vol. 1 was a good read. I was more interested in Krypton's story throughout these first six issues, not so much the the final reveal... but very intrigued by Brainiac.

Read New Avengers Vol. 1-2 today. The mystery about the incursions, how and why they're happening, is amazing. Hickman is a genius writer and I'm so glad to finally get context for how Secret Wars started.

Go watch Skeleton Crew! This show is wonderful, amazing, fantastic, you name it! It deserves to be the next "Stranger Things" type show and I hope they continue for many seasons.

Almost forgot to post the Comics I read today: (It was a slow day for comics)
Saga of the Swamp Thing #20-21 helped me start my day. I'll admit, it was rough starting on issue 20 but Alan Moore had me by the end. Can't wait to read more of the Saga!
Comics read today: Peach Momoko's Ultimate X-Men 4-6, Wolverine #2 and X-Men #1 (both by Chris Claremont) & X-Factor #53!
Old or new, it's a great time to read comics!
Finished Ultimate X-Men Vol. 1 earlier today. Can't wait for more!

Today I started reading Ultimate X-Men 1-3 by Peach Momoko.
I love the lexicon descriptions at the end of each issue and look forward to finishing Vol. 1 tomorrow.

It's been a fun year for film!
Watched student films at the UCA Film Fest, heard from the cast of Transformers One, got to see a comic-con screening of Speak No Evil & watched Sing Sing with a Q&A at the end!
