A graphic made by Rise for Animals showing a "Then & Now" side by side: "Then" on the left, is represented by a small monkey's had gripping a human finger. "Now" on the right shows Madeline Krasno proudly displaying her "For Patrick" tattoo on her left inner arm (honoring a monkey she cared for in UW Madison's primate lab) beside a banner for the National Animal Rights Conference, also showing a photo of a macaque.
In a victory for free speech, a federal judge ruled that @uwmadison.bsky.social 's blocking of social media comments critical of its use of animals in horrific experiments is unconstitutional. Former primate caretaker @madelinekrasno.bsky.social won her appeal in the 7th circuit.

The most ethical voices in science are often the quietestβnot because they lack conviction, but because speaking up can come at a cost. At Justify, weβre making space for those voices to be heard, valued, and protected. Together, we can shift science toward compassion, transparency, and truth.

Why did we create Justify?
People typically enter the animal research industry with good intentions.
Many lab workers care deeply about animals and humans. They often enter the field hoping to make a difference, not to cause harm.
Shocking scenes. Such violence against those standing up for wildlife.

Macaco de cola larga en caja de transporte. Animal Rights BE
Animal rights activist Jill Phipps was tragically killed by a truck transporting calves to Coventry Airport, destined for veal crates. Her tireless fight for animal liberation continues to inspire. Forever in our hearts. ππ±πΎ Gone but not forgotten

Is it time to ban all animal testing?
A new poll says 7 out of 10 people would like it stopped for medical research.
Supporters of the practice, though, say a ban would severely affect vital work in cancer and dementia prevention.
Whose side are you on?
Study finds that amphibians are harmed by #glyphosate, including at levels detected in water. Amphibians play crucial role in ecosystems. Any impact on their populations can disrupt entire food webs, with potentially serious consequences for the ecosystem. www.pan-uk.org/study-finds-...

Humans are similar to other primates in ways that affect how we treat & interact with them. But when it comes to genetic details critical for biomedical research, key differences make non-human primates poor stand-ins for humans. Two new findings show us why... π§΅

Sadly we are no further on & most turn a blind eye to animals having any feelings at all.
Do they have a right to live their life & as nature intended, the right to be free?
Or are they products to you?
