Jumping over water. Brown bear. This is a 1.5-year-old cub that is separated from its mother for the first month because the mother is planning new cubs. We have about 1000 brown bears in Estonian forests, not too difficult to find them.

I had week ago again trip to Spain. Among other birds and landsapes I wanted to take photots of spanish imperial eagle the most rearest raptor in Europe. There is just about 500 pairs of these birds in the world.

Looking back to my visit to Pyrenees in November to meet bearded vulture. It is amazing bird with nearly 3 meter wingspan. I just needed to put this photo after this small owl. Imagine the size difference.

Sometimes there is huge luck to have something special, like in this photo of northern hawk-owl with a prey. It was snowing and between the clouds the sun was peeking and shining light to the owl.

Eurasian pygmy owl is the smallest owl in Europe. They are just about 15 to 18 cm (6 to 7 in) long but as a hunters they can catch prey who is nearly their size. March is the time when it is easier to find them.
