I really do have a love hate relationship with #3Dprint supports. This print of Alexander from #EldenRing @fromsoftwarepr.bsky.social is such a great design but the supports under his arm leave him so rough. Any tips?

Another way of achieving bright beautiful 3Dprints and to use up the last inches of filament in a roll is to print items with many parts.
Our wonderful Special Collections and Archives team requested some miniature printing presses!

Our beautiful new filament is going down a storm and I was so excited to try this deluxe blue on the prettiest Beta fish request.
The detail of the design alongside the silver shimmer of the glitter within the blue is just 🧑‍🍳😙🤌

Do you find that large flat prints start to peel up at one corner during printing for no reason.

This knitting block will probably still work but does not look as nice.

We have had a very creative #3Drpinting request come in for #MakerMonday.

Combining high and low tech, we have printed some yarn holders for keeping stock neat, and accessible.

We have been creating some snazzy 3D printed jewellery but nothing can ruin you day more than running out of filament mid print.
But our replacement sparkly green cheered us up a bit.

One of my favourite #3Dprinting requests has proven to be one of the most frustrating. Why are figures always so troublesome? Even with supports and a raft base Toothless's wings just did not want to print!

A little sandpaper should do the trick but I wonder if a more flexible filament might have been better.

We really do have a special place in our heart for #MULibrarycat and cats in general. How cute is this special #3Dprint request for a little cat bowl, even our #Lego cat seems to love it.

I just love these little articulated wobbly robots. It is a simple & quick print but their little hands always fail or fall out.
A little bit of super glue works well on PLA filament but it is a little frustrating.
