It's not malicious or anything, I just find it sad, that Mark used to write very insightful articles and these days most of it is not, but in his end of the year review he pretends to have written tons of 5-star articles anyway.

I used to really like MaRo's articles, but these days many of them feel rushed and a bit carelessly written.

I've also noticed some cases, where Mark is pretending to give a behind-the-scenes tour of a set design, but is obviously just guessing or making up (plausible) stories.

Pro Tour Chicago 1999 had a few weird decks in the Top 8.

The format was Extended and Bob Maher won it with his Enlightened Control. Some very specific choices include Ivory Mask and Trade Routes.

Brainstorm with fetch lands before "real" fetch lands makes an appearance, too.

Imagine a Pro Tour where all the most broken cards of Magic's history are legal --Academy, Will, Necro, Vamp, you name it-- and you show up with this deck.

Olle Rade did just that at the 1998 PT Rome. Amazingly his faith in good ol Savannah Lions rewarded him with a Top 8.

Instead he played Darwin Kastle, who played a distant ancestor to Delver Burn.

Kastle had the matchup on the disruption-heavier Zila, but could not compete against Long's ProsBloom in the semis, where Zila arguably would have stood a decent chance.

In case you ever wondered who came up with the idea of a Tempo deck, this is what Jason Zila played at 1997 PT Paris.

Probably not coincidentally the format was dominated by Magic's first successful combo deck, ProsBloom.

Unfortunately Zila didn't get to play Bloom in the quarters...

Und ist es nicht geschickt von Merz, so wenig von der Schuldenbremse auszunehmen wie irgend möglich, wenn seine Ziel ist, diese zu erhalten?

Er wird in den Verhandlungen mit den Grünen Zugeständnisse machen müssen, aber alles, was er jetzt schon aufgibt, hat er nicht mehr als Verhandlungsmasse.

Läuft der Kredit aus werden neue Kredite zur Rückzahlung aufgenommen werden.

Man kann jetzt länger über die Gründe und eine Bewertung dessen diskutieren, aber in meinen Augen sollte man das erstmal als gesetzt sehen.

Dann kann man immer noch nach der Zinsbelastung folgender Generationen fragen.

Mich irritiert das ein wenig, wenn --wie Ihr das ja auch macht-- nach der Rückzahlung der Schulden gefragt wird.

Ein Privatmensch zahlt seine Schulden zurück. Staaten und meist auch Unternehmen tun dies üblicherweise nicht. Sie zahlen lediglich Zinsen auf die bestehende Schulden.
