Just to piggy back this, there is no person online I loathe more than the person who acts like a shithead to everyone around them and then immediately flips to sad boi suicidal the moment people tell them to fuck off. Some folks antagonize then have bad days, not that. I'm talking the gimmicks.

Also she tried to build her reputation on being different from her sister and being less bubblegum pop and more a band/pop punk thing. Most saw through it but she at least tried to do it. So her doing the lip sync track made her an easy target.

Some people had an issue with the lip syncing but more had a problem with her never finishing the performance and blaming her band. There's also an expectation of quality if you're a pop artist to not have a Milli Vanilli moment.

My first suggestion these days (and I'm not crazy about it but I think it's a good product to get hooked on) is DPW. I think they do good at releasing enough free YouTube content to get someone into it. Plus a pretty easy to access fanbase.

AEW is the easiest to try to get someone into but if they don't like the style? There's a ton of classic stuff or you can find stuff free easy to find and hope they catch something.

But they also have to make the effort. There's no good excuse to go back to WWE.

Absolutely. Whenever I see someone say, "don't watch WWE but watch this promotion for 7 bucks a month" it's like, uh, the paywall is a non starter. Honestly that's why so many got into Lucha Underground a decade ago. It was pirated everywhere. Easy to get into.

For sure. My reply was someone who didn't want to watch WWE anymore but didn't like AEW. So it's someone who presumably had already tried AEW and didn't like it.
