New obsession unlocked: Star Fleet Battles.

But also, the Star Fleet universe is technically separate from the Star Trek universe (licensing reasons). Star Trek is definitely a science fiction series that explores some more of the softer sciences (anthropology, sociology, etc.), Star Fleet is explicitly a military sci-fi universe.

The BattleTech RPGs are attached at the hip to the BattleTech wargame. So all the 'mech customization options are also in the RPGs. That does include all the additional optional Rule books for 'mech building.
