Is anyone else watching the decimation of a federal agency and feeling as though they are watching their entire career go up in flames?

Institute of Education Science is the research arm of DOE, and the main driver for determining effective instructional quality and innovation.

It took the third highest hit in workforce reduction and it represents a serious blow to improving education for all students in this country. Tragic.

We are a country of immigrants, and yet the U.S. has become a country in which immigrants live in fear and in hiding.

Nailed it.

Thinking they might want to mention the impact of drastic cuts to research funding on the preparation of the next generation of research scientists. These actions will have dramatic and far-reaching effects on the future and viability of of science and innovation.

Has anyone heard from the R1 universities? Their research funding is being decimated by this administration and they haven’t uttered a word about it in protest. What’s up with that?

Texas updates #measles counts, up to 159 as of March 4, 22 hospitalized. They also note child who passed was "not vaccinated and had no known underlying conditions." This is important because antivaxxers have made lots of claims otherwise, circulating on social media.
